High Dress Standards and Uniforms
People base much of
their decision on your appearance. If you look sleazy, customers will expect
you to be a rip-off merchant. If you look professional, they will prefer to
deal with you. Uniforms are ideal, as they add credibility and the feeling that
the customer is dealing with a well-established, big organization. Name tags
also work well, and allow the customers to feel they know you.
Hints and Tips:
1.
Research
colors and styles and ensure that your selection not only looks good but
matches the image you're trying to project. For example, a funeral home uniform
should look different from that of a vacation resort.
2.
Try
asking the customers what they would like to see you wear.
3- Also ask your team members. If they don't
feel comfortable, they won't look comfortable.

Try before
You Buy
If you can do this safely, do it.
It's the old puppy dog technique-try taking a puppy home then
returning it two weeks later. Obviously, people won't have that kind of
attachment to the product (unless you sell pets), but the product will become
part of their lives. It will be twice as easy to say, Which credit card
would you like to pay for that on?
Hints and Tips:
1.
Make
sure the prospective customer is genuinely interested in buying.
2.
Ensure
that they know exactly how the product works so they gain the maximum benefit
from it over the trial period.
3- If you are out of demo products, offer to
take their names and put them on a waiting list.
