Reprint Press Articles
If you've had anything printed about
you (well, anything positive, that is), photocopy it and hand it to potential
customers. This shows that other people know about you, and that you have a degree
oi celebrity. As weird as it may seem, people are attracted to this star
power. It also builds credibility, because it seems as though someone
objective is saying something nice about you.
Hints and
Tips:
1.
It
gives instant credibility so use it as a sales tool.
2.
Try
and make color copies if possible.
3- Hang positive articles on your wall so all
can see them. Rating: 5/5
Rewrite Your Quotes, Tenders, and
Proposals into Action Plans
Instead of just writing
a standard quote (you get X for $Y-take it or leave it), why not write the
prospect a letter? Include the price near the top, and then explain everything
that makes you different. There's more to their decision than price, so make
your letter, or plan of action, reflect that. End with, I'll call in the
next few days to discuss this further.
Hints and
Tips:
1.
Don't
just focus on price. Also explain what makes you different.
2.
Include
a few testimonials.
3- Offer to discuss it further if
there are any questions.
4. Keep selling your promise. It's the
thing this client will want more than anything else.
